Charleston|Orwig Internship has a public relations internship opportunity!

Responsibilities:

Charleston|Orwig is a strategic communications consultant serving leading brands in diverse industries and endeavors. Our business is divided into two separate, yet complementary, disciplines: Reputation Management and Integrated Marketing. Nearly all of our clients are involved in the food industry, from the producer level through retail. 

1. The public relations intern will work within the public relations departments to develop communications elements for agriculture clients involved in various initiatives within the food industry. This includes communications efforts directed toward producers, as well as initiatives that help educate consumers about how food is produced.

2. Interns will also work with issues management team to research and develop messaging for food industry clients.

3. Intern participants receive extensive experience in all facets of the agency. Completing projects and tasks are completed in each department in order to get a firm grasp of how public relations agencies work.

Qualifications:
1. Excellent writing and analytical skills
2. Previous internship experience working in an office environment (preferred)
3. Should at least be entering senior year (preferred)
Duration of Internship: June 1, 2009 – September 1, 2009
