American Agri-Women  Foundation Scholarships – Varies Due Dates

One focus of American Agri-Women Foundation is education both of young people and of AAW members. To this end the Foundation gives academic scholarships and first-time attendee event scholarships. We encourage you to apply for the scholarship for which you are eligible.

Agriculture Future of America (AFA) Scholarships – 

Who Can Apply?

Graduating high school seniors and current undergrads enrolled in an agriculture or food-related degree program in the U.S. See the full eligibility requirements.

How Much Money is Granted?

Awards vary between $1,600 and $3,200. All scholarships include admission to the AFA Leaders Conference (excluding travel).
 

How are Applications Evaluated?

Recipients will be selected based on their career goals, leadership and community involvement and financial need. Some scholarships will be awarded based on specific criteria, for example, living in a particular community area.
 

When Do You Hear Back?

Scholarships will be announced in early June.

ACN-ACT Student Contest

Win funding to attend the Ag Media Summit!

The Agricultural Communicators Network (ACN) is offering a student contest exclusively for National ACT members to support attendance at the 2025 Ag Media Summit (AMS)—the largest annual gathering of agricultural communicators. AMS provides students with networking, professional development, and career-launching opportunities through workshops, industry speakers, and the annual National ACT meetings.

How to Enter

Students (individually or in teams of up to four) will develop a research-based marketing plan to recruit recent college graduates as ACN members. The plan must include:

  • Strategic document with research, objectives, timeline, and budget
  • Three creative assets (e.g., social media posts, press releases, advertisements)
  • Bonus points available for original research, SWOT analysis, or member profiles 

Deadline: April 15, 2025
